On 8/13 - Brought in a 2023 Volvo Xc90 for a standard 40k service which was quoted at Volvo dealer. I dropped off the vehicle overnight with phone # listed to call. I went in physically before the drop off to discuss the service needed. I didn’t receive a call to authorize services which exceeded $400. Annoyed I pulled up Volvo’s official quote to challenge my bill. I appreciate that the price got changed downwards, but services should never proceed if estimates are not approved. No other mechanic has ever done this to me in St Pete. Disappointed that I now trust the official Volvo dealer than a local shop. Written estimates is the law. Mistake or not no customer should ever encounter this.

This was my first visit to Action Imports. I drive a 2013 Mercedes-Benz, the AC failed a week ago in Florida June, I got several repair estimates from other shops that were unreasonably high. A friend recommended this location, and I’m glad they did. The AC was repaired within one day at a very reasonable cost. For anyone with an older foreign-made vehicle, I would highly recommend this shop.

Dominic saw us in the Beacon ER parking lot next door and helped us make sure the tire we were changing was on securely (keep in mind it was 8am on Halloween so the shop was CLOSED)! He also filled the spare with air to the proper psi and checked and filled the other 3 tires! Good to know there are such kind and helpful people nearby! Thank you so much, Dominic!

I made an appointment w Rene and showed up on time. Everyone was very amicable and obviously it pays to have an appointment. A couple of repeat customers came in and all were treated in a friendly way. My car was serviced expediently and at a fair price. I am a happy customer!!
